Golf Course Laborer II

The Golf Course Laborer position is part of the Golf Maintenance Department and reports to the Golf Course Superintendent. Founded in 1994, Prairie Landing is a high-end, daily fee links-style golf course that is consistently top-ranked in the state of Illinois. We are seeking a knowledgeable, ambitious, self-motivated person with a passion for the golf industry. This is a seasonal position starting in April and ending in Nov/Dec.

Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Mowing/maintaining various playing surfaces
  • Raking bunkers
  • Assisting with golf course set up and operations
  • General landscape maintenance practices
  • A driver’s license is required
  • Golf course experience preferred, but not required

Compensation

  • $20–$22 hourly with some possible overtime
  • Eligibility for up to 40 hours of paid time-off
