Golf Course Laborer I

The Golf Course Laborer position is part of the Golf Maintenance Department and reports to the Golf Course Superintendent. Founded in 1994, Prairie Landing is a high-end, daily fee links-style golf course that is consistently top-ranked in the state of Illinois. We are seeking a knowledgeable, ambitious, self-motivated person with a passion for the golf industry. This is a seasonal position starting in April and ending in Nov/Dec.

Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Mowing/maintaining various playing surfaces
Raking bunkers
Assisting with golf course set up and operations
General landscape maintenance practices
A driver’s license is required
Golf course experience preferred, but not required

Compensation

$19–$21 hourly with some possible overtime
Possible participation in IMRF pension depending on qualifications
Eligibility for up to 40 hours of paid time-off
